DescriptionThis is one of many posters designed by Hans Looser for the Swiss men’s fashion store Tuch AG in Lucerne during the 1950s. Looser had established his own graphic-design studio in Zurich in 1945, and by 1953 had opened his own advertising agency, which soon became well known for its high-quality poster designs. This design and his others for Tuch, like his series of hugely successful posters for the Swiss luxury men's clothing firm PKZ of Zurich, typically feature men elegantly attired in sleek suits, set against a plain ground. There is no slogan, just the company’s name. On View
