DescriptionThis collaborative poster announces the formation of Filmsense, Inc., a division within Push Pin Studios dedicated to producing “graphics, typography, and illustration especially for film.” The venture took its name from the typeface, two versions of which were created by Seymour Chwast and Milton Glaser (Chwast’s is shown in the poster). Occasionally, posters note members of the studio who worked outside the realm of design. Barbara Freed, mentioned in the margin as a point of contact, was a studio representative for Push Pin from 1967 to 1969.
