DescriptionThis humorous poster showing caricatures of passengers in the shape of sardines packed into two tins was issued by London Transport to urge people to travel at off-peak times. Its measurements indicate that it was intended to be posted in Tube carriages. This was one of many designs made by Harry Stevens for London Transport between 1960 and 1978.
